I thought Austin was awesome but Gaine is AMAZING! Not only is he super hot but the faithfulness and loyalty he has had for Mireya, his unconditional love, his patience, UNBELIEVABLE!To have to sit there and watch her pissing around with Austin I really felt for him and she treated him bad too alot of the time but he never gave up on her. He really blew me away!Mireya is one staunch, fucked up bitch! Hurt beyond belief and unable to allow herself to feel for Gaine so theirs is not a smooth ride at all, she fights him tooth and nail! Which makes for some very hot and sexy angry sex by the way!The Triple MC still have shit coming at them from all sides and within, never a dull moment.Austin and Amy are there, Kimme, Beck, we see them all. Get to know them all more but this is Gaine and Mireya's journey and it is one hell of a HOT ride. Gaine and Mireya SIZZLE!Loved him, loved her,(when she wasn't being mean to Gaine), loved them!Can't wait till the next book, Beck. Yay! He's one lethal fucker!! Amy and Austin were my favorites...the first book hooked me and I fell in love with this nomad MC. Now this second book comes along and I really don't like Mireya at all...Gaine is a sweetheart of a hunk but what she puts him through is ridiculous.Yes, I get that she had a troubled and violent past and that she was hurt and has major trust issues (and let's not forget she still carries a big torch for Austin)...but her games and manipulative behavior didn't win brownie points in my eyes and I was surprised at the depth of Gaine's feelings...being a no-nonsense tough biker...to have the patience he did.I still gave this second book in the series 4 stars because I really do like Stunich's hard edge style of writing and she makes her female characters be as tough as the males, while still keeping their feminine sexiness in the forefront. Her bikers are also more the focus of her books because they don't have a clubhouse per se and all the action takes place on the road, in hotels, in bars and puts the focus more on the relationships with the couples on the road and less about the daily ins and outs of club life.Wonder if the next books will have more to do with Amy's sister Christy though since I was really hoping she would have had more of a storyline in this one.A pretty hot and wild time for Mireya and Gaine...good ending as well =)**** 4 **** "breaking down the barriers" stars
