About book Lost In A River Of Grass (2012)

First the title of the book kind of just gives you an idea of the story line, I think the title really matched up with the book's actual theme and story line. I really like books that have a title that matches up with the overall theme and story line of the book. I actually really loved this book and some of the things were so true, and even if I couldn't imagine myself in the same position as the same character (Sarah), in those dangerous and rare situations, I could still relate to some of the things she believes in, thinks of and I mean the author expressed so many things honestly. I just thought this book told us a small important messages in every single chapter which we should identify. Anyhow, this book takes you into a fascinating, long adventure into nature and wildlife. The characters go through a really dangerous, and hard journey, battling with creatures that could kill them. It's amazing and sizzling. You can taste some of the danger in an unknown, natural place full of danger and wild lives. Especially the people who love an adventurous story or journey. It's a really short book, and I'm impressed by how the author wrote so much, made so many things happen and other things in such a short amount of pages. I could write so much but I guess you get a bit of an idea? So yeah I give this 5 stars, and the author did a really good job! I really recommend this book, duh. Hope you enjoy it! xoxo - Nabilah A great read about two teens from two different worlds come together in that face of an accident that could leave them dead.Sarah & Andy are stuck out in the Everglades. 10 miles of slogging through the glades, fighting off hunger, thirst, and all the horrid creepy crawlies the Glades have. What started out as a picnic out in the Glades on a Air boat, ended with the air boat sinking. Take on city girl and one country girl, put them into some hairy situations and see them prevail. The story is about two kids surviving in a unkind environment. Who they started out as, is not who they will be by the time they are rescued.I loved Andy. Had it not have been for Andy, Sarah would not have made it alive. He helped her to get over her fears, they both ended up believing that they were strong and could do anything, and in the end they had an unbreakable bond.
