About book Look But Don't Touch (2000)

Let me begin by saying that I'm glad the title of this book was changed from "Daddy's Touch" to "Look But Don't Touch". The original title brought about ideas of incest and while the story itself may hint at it, it is done in the realm of intimate role-playing.This was a really well-written novella that is packed with a lot of steam AND story. The lead characters are actually interesting and the circumstances of their love story keeps you hooked from start to finish. The ending is kind of a cliffhanger BUT this is just the first book in a series and the fourth book continues the story of Nicholas Ford and Kayla Brandon. ^.^"Look But Don't Touch" was a quick read, filled with kink and sex but still with a sensible story and characters. Four stars out of five! ^.^ I have mixed emotions on this book. The writing and story overall deserve 5 stars, but where the conflict lies is the theme of the role playing. Nicholas the main character owns several clubs, but has decided to live a vanilla lifestyle, however after stopping in to check on his club during the "daddy/little girl" theme night and meeting someone he is attracted to he reconsiders his current relationship. I find that Nicholas being turned on by this woman acting like his daughter and him being daddy, showing her things no dad should be saying or doing to his daughter creepy. I am torn because the rest of the story is great and even the sex scene was hot..but in order to enjoy the writing/scene I had to swap words when reading to envision another role play theme rather than that. I want to see what happens with Nicholas's soon to be ex and Kayla, but I'm not sure I can continue on.
