I stopped reading the book at the end, not because I didn't liked it, it just got too obscure for me. I just got overloaded by the amount of useless information the author gave us. Ok we needed some of that to understand the story, but it was just too much. I also had a problem with the 20 characters being introduced right at the beginning of the book. That was really too much and I forgot half of the names afterwards. I think that the 1300 pages book could be made up to 800 pages if you cut out like 8 unnecessary characters and something like a 5-page-report about the politics of an unimportant country somewhere in africa.I love Schätzing for the way he is able to design really cool characters.The characters are pretty good, but it was just too many of them.I don't think that Limit is one of his best books and he overdoes it with the information part, but if you can deal with that, just go ahead and read it. Anlaufschwierigkeiten und wenig erbauliche LängenAm Anfang ist die Geschichte auf zwei Schauplätze aufgeteilt, den Mond und Shanghai. Während der Mond-Handlungsstrang für mich von Anfang an interessant war, hat sich die Story in Shanghai endlos gezogen. Ausführliche Beschreibungen von Kampf- und Actionszenen eempfand ich als nervig und langweilig und konnte mir die Handlung nicht bildlich vorstellen und ich war kurz davor, das Buch aufzugeben. Es sehr lange bis die beiden Handlungsstränge endlich zusammen finden und man den roten Faden erkennt.Nicht mein Lieblingsbuch von Frank Schätzing.
