Today I just had to read “Love At First Date” again, I really needed it! I'm so glad I did. It was just the cup of tea I craved. I remember the first time I read it and how I found it to be so very refreshing and this time I enjoyed it even more. I have all the books on Kindle but need to get them also on audio because I'm needing a boost of not necessarily young love but it has an innocent appeal to it, full of hope and dreams. Yes, that's how I would describe Susan's writing. It's fresh, youthful, hopeful, imaginative and dreamy. It sort reflects her cheery smile. If you're having a bad or uneventful day this book will make you smile, guaranteed. Whether you're in your twenties, thirties or forties, heck forget the age, if you're a woman, some part of your life's memories will be able to relate and your mouth will curve up at the sides when you read this book. I don't give spoilers but I will say that the two main characters are loveable, him more so, of course and, as the events unfold you find yourself inevitably rooting for them. Happy reading! Ellen thinks online dating is the best way to get a compatible date and future husband with common interests. She has seen her mom go thru too many men that she had nothing in common with. She has a close group of friends that are going along with her online dating plan. She dog sits her friend's dog and ends up at the Vet with an emergency where she meets Henry. Ellen ends up in dog obedience class to see more of Henry. Ellen continues her online match dating but can't stop thinking about Henry. Really a cute chick lite romance I enjoyed and will continue to read the rest of the series.
