This is a happy book! It made me all giddy and giggly while reading about Melanie's encounters with men and falling in love then falling apart. Good thing, her best- friend Patti is at her beck and call. Whenever she needs her help, she's there, complete with Boyfriend Bylaws. It was hilarious when Mel had to call her to ask permission to date or give a man her phone number. Ha-Ha..I think I'll recommend this short romance story for an overnight reading, just so you could sleep well with a smile on your face. Although there's not much depth with the characters and the story itself, I found myself dreaming of my teenage years when all I had to do was pick the good-looking boy to be my prom date.. Ha-ha-ha. This is yet another of those free things I found the link for on Pixel of Ink. I probably wouldn't have gotten this one otherwise. I've been reading more romance lately, though generally I've been into the Regency stuff. I do like the modern though. Mostly, I didn't particularly care about any of these characters. None were all that sympathetic and you knew halfway through the first chapter what was going to happen. The writing style was decent, but nothing special. I doubt I'd read anything else by this author.
Do You like book The Boyfriend Bylaws (2011)?
A cute read. Light hearted and pleasant. Satisfying read.
