I have lots to say. I can't believe this is even the same author that wrote Flat Out Love. Was this book just erotica disguised as New Adult? The story and character development were severely lacking so I felt no connection or chemistry between the characters. That made the chapters upon chapters of sexual descriptions feel uncomfortable instead of sexy. I'm getting really tired of this genre that seems to be filled with broken characters, boys behaving badly, insta-sex and magical happily ever afters. The end.Side note: I read this book with a friend and we were totally baffled about the characters motivations, couldn't stop rolling our eyes over the overly dramatic scenes and dialogue. It wasn't swoony, sexy or romantic. It just felt cheesy, unbelievable and forced. Sorry. Amé la personalidad de Blythe. Toda luchadora, graciosa, feminista y buena amiga.Si, el principio fue difícil con sus problemas y la depresión y todo pero a lo largo de la historia fue creciendo como persona, como amiga, como hermana y como mujer. Toda la transformación del personaje de Blythe fue genial de leer.Los hermanos Sheperd fueron la dosis de amistad, locura y enigma.Amé cada uno de los hermanos, por sus diferencias y por la forma en que eran todos juntos.Me gustó el libro pero no puedo darle 5 estrellas, más que nada por dos cosas:1.- Sentí que en algún punto la escritora lateó mucho la historia. En otras palabras, habían capítulos que sentí como de relleno. Alargaba mucho algunas partes y nunca llegaba al punto y sentí que pasé años leyendo el libro. A diferencia de otros libros que lo lees en nada y se te pasa muy rápidamente.2.- La locura sexual entre Blythe y Chris. Si si, hormonas revolucionadas, amor juvenil y separaciones. No tengo nada en contra de las escenas sexuales, no por nada soy fan de los fanfic Rated M. Pero... en ocasiones me cansó un poco tanto cachondeo entre esos dos.Pero aún así, a pesar de esas dos cosas que no me gustaron, el libro sigue siendo bueno y entretenido! Una muy buena lectura, totalmente recomendado.Y cómo dice Jessica Park:“This book is for everyone who has survived. You are not broken. You can love and be loved, despite what may feel like the eternally brutal nature of the world. Even when you're drowning and so far under, there is always time to reach for someone who will teach you how to breathe again.”
