One of the best Bane chronicles! Elegantly sweet with beautiful genuine caring love. Magnus's observance and thoughtfulness of Alec was very insightful and touching in many ways. Humour was in every page as Magnus contacts our favorite Bane Chronicles characters: Catorina and Ragnor. Magnus's choice of the birthday present was pleasantly surprising. This novella was irreverseably smile-triggering! This story was adorable. Since Malec is my biggest ship of the Shadowhunters World, this made me happy. It's beautiful to see Magnus in love, excited for a birthday, nervous about a birthday present. It's beautiful to see Alec not being afraid to protect Magnus and seeking his arms and warmth at the end of the day. I'm going down with this ship.“This was love, new and bright and terrifying”
