There is something about this story that just doesn't sit well with me. The search for the three people injected with the same serum as Jonas' daughter complicates the storyline thoroughly, confusingly written in the way things are dragged out piece by piece. I think it makes the whole story harder to read. Also, the refusal of Diane and Justice to get on the same page with their mating is just not enjoyable to read either. Overall it just takes away from the stories that the breed books used to be. Some Breeds need to be on the favorite shelf and this particular breed is asking for it. As I'm writing this I am not entirely finished with the story but it's night and I have to list parts that I love so much so I won't forget it.I really love Diane's attitude. This make me really really smile. I barely remember my fave parts at the start but the middle there is Diane with the scene on purring Amber, her love for her niece was so tangible that I bet she'll be an awesome mom. Oh and the scene with Rule and Lawe at the elavator was definitely awesome, I love this two and finding them fighting for a girl is definitely must-see. Next part is Rachel's act on the meeting with Jonas and Lawe to get him to act to find Diane. The whole scene was magnificent upto the part where Rachel and Lyons rubbed heads. Then the staring contest Diane did with Gideon which was definitely hot and hot and hot. He was actually KINDA turned on with her. And his POV that time full of praises about Diane was awesome. Next is when Lawe tried to stop Diane from getting in the bathroom and he was like 'this small motel, nobody can get past one another without brushing skin' something between those lines. I haven't finished yet and I need to sleep. Tomorrow.Doneeee with it! Absolutely amazing! Especially the ending and the compromise they were able to make. And I'm so glad it wasn't Diane who was in the wrong cause usually girls are always wrong (like with Storme) anyway I love Thor but he's human! I wish he had more exposure. The next book I started the prologue and it's about Liza but the title says its about Honor and maybe someone named Styg. Is he by chance a brother of Styx? I don't remember.I love Diane! She is just so awesome. Unfortunately Amber's thing can't be solved yet and my library has only Styg's Honor as the last book. What the hell?
Do You like book Lawe's Justice (2011)?
A bit slow in the beginning - but definitely worth the read!
