This was one of the stupidest wannabe Sookie Stackhouse books I have ever had the misfortune to read. The title alone is enough to make one wince, but the fact that the girl is a mind-reader, etc.? And that she's a virgin, and ohoho, what should happen but the wannabe swooney vampire that she bumps into used to be married a long time ago, and is everything that is ~good and ~sexy? Yeah, I don't think so. This just bored me to tears. And I don't know if I'm remembering correctly or not, since it's been quite a while since I've read this, but I think there was something like the guy hasn't had sex or been in a relationship for how many hundreds of years since his wife, who he didn't even really like that much anyway? lol okay. From the Love at Stake series, book 8. Olivia works with the FBI as a psychologist, she is being stalked by a very evil serial killer, even though he has been locked away. Robby McKay, a vampire that works with McKay Security and Investigations, was a victim of the Malcontents when they kidnapped and tortured him over a two day period. Both of them have been sent off by their bosses at work to take a much needed break from the stresses they both have recently endured, and both conveniently end up on the Island of Patmos. When they finally open up with one another they work together to defeat her stalker and his own demons.
Do You like book La Vierge Et Le Vampire (2012)?
I finished this book a while ago, it was awsome.
