Ally Everton has been having a run of bad luck. Accident after accident has her leaving London and heading to the countryside to her brother's weekend cottage. There she meets the town's bad boy, Caspar. Caspar has had his own run of bad luck. The town looks down on Caspar due to his past but Ally sees something they don't.I saw a review of this and it intrigued me so I got it and I really liked it. The characters were delightful. The story had a mystery element that was interesting. The romance was.... Well, it was hot. There were a few elements that were uncomfortable for me personally and a few issues I didn't feel were completely resolved but I really did like it. It had romance, suspense, mystery, drama, adventure, and humor. I like this story. Another Miss Elsborg's romantic comedy recipe, and I still enjoyed it. I can't believe that the entire story lasted only a week or so in the book, because many things happened that can be squeezed at that timeframe. Anyway, I really like the concept o redemption for Gaspar and forgiveness in all aspects in his life. Ally's wit, quick thinking and somehow nosy attitude reaped good results. I've already read Adam's story and I'm really curious about how he met this couple, and now I've known it. Overall it is a great sweet read.
