Before yesterday, I had never heard of an author by the name of Barbara Elsborg. In 24 hours, I've read TWO of her books. I have no shame. This book is about love...unrequited, love lost, conditional love, love unconditionally, forbidden love, blinded love, displaced love, and heartbreak.I hate writing reviews because I can't NOT write without spoilers. However, I will say that book has drama, suspense, cowboys, special needs, longing, fear, strength unknown, heartache, loss, bigotry, triumph, devotion, romance, steamy sex, angst, family and wild animals (the two and four-legged kind). 4.5 STARS... Oh what the heck. FIVE STARS I read a second book by Barbara Elsborg- Cowboys Down. Man did this book give you a thrill ride! There was a sad secert revealed; there was a kidnapping; there was so much hate; there was love but not yet said; there was a a-hole father; there was a loss mother; there was a very comical shop owner; there was trust and finally there was love and trust under it all. This book get a 4 star and highly recommended from me! - Liah
