A good read with good storyline. I would have liked more world development and character building but the way the book started out did work for the story and reader's do get the jest of what is happening and why it is happening. For those of you who like shounen-ai (look up the meaning if you don't know what I mean), I would recommend this book.I did have some questions concerning how Regan could hear? Darach when Kian needed to heal. Also I felt it was a bit rushed but nonetheless it was an enjoyable read. I found this book a terrible let down. The story was shallow and not well fleshed out. When I read a sci-fi or paranormal book, I want to know about the world the main character, Kian in this case, comes from and how the magic works. This book only gave me small dribbles of the details I needed to even like Kian. Kian has the magik of fire and is on a revenge trip to kill the man who stole his Uncle's fire or magik therefore killing his Uncle. Kian needs the help of his mate, a human named Regan Campbell, to kill the "fire thief". I can only hope as a huge fan of R.J. Scott that the next book in the trilogy does a lot of explaining.
Do You like book Kian's Hunter (2014)?
I kind of don't like the cover cuz I don't like the way the really pale dude looks, but *shrug.
