Score again for Layne! Loved yet another of her books. I just adore this group of characters so much. And the scenarios she puts her characters in are fabulously fun! Also, major props to Riley for being able to do what she has done for so many years. I never would be able to pull that kind of thing off. It irritated me how long Riley and Sam waited for each other, but not in a "I hate this story" kind of way, but more of a "Gosh darn it these two NEED to be together and they lost all of those years!" way. At least the reader was spared the long span of it in detail and only had to read when things were kicking into something important =) I adored the piece at the end after the big blow up and when the resolution is just starting. Riley is a bad ass who knows what she wants and isn't afraid of calling it like it is. Also, she loves food! Hell yeah! I enjoyed the story between Riley and Sam the way their relationship develops throughout the book. Riley is a sassy lady and Sam is the quiet broody man. I loved the cute puppies and the rest of the gang.I have not read the other 2 books in this series as they are not yet released on Amazon UK this is a stand alone but I missed not knowing the back story with the other 2 couples so it is better to read them in order. I will be reading them when they are released.ARC kindly provided by NetGalley in an exchange for an honest review.
A delightful little romp that was not only well written, but well edited.

Wow...it's too long for my taste, but this book is a real treat!
