This was a fun romp of an installment to get us by until the next book in the series. Jory is just supposed to enter a bank and make a deposit, but instead he gets held as a hostage for a bank robbery. The robbers find themselves confounded when they learn that it is just not their day. They've captured the spouse of a lethal US Marshall who has a long and tenacious memory it seems. Jory is more worried about what Sam will think about him getting into trouble than he is about getting held as a hostage.Like I said, it was hilarious and quintessential Jory. This book is a total nonsense and I loved it! Jory gets older but keeps his enchanting ADD personality and his superhuman attractiveness. The way he was talking to the gunman, you would think they were having tea or something. I don't know why I realise only now, when we are at the end of the series, that Jory is probably, no, make it certainly deranged. Poor Sam will die of a heart attack one day.
Do You like book Just Jory (2012)?
Short but hilarious. The way Jory's mind works never fails to amaze and amuse me.
