Her mom is opening a cupcake store named “ It’s raining Cupcakes”. her mom gets a little stressed out about the store. Isabel signs up with her friend Sophie for a baking contest and the finalists go to New York. Isabel was one of the finalists but Sophie wasn’t. After a while the store open and they were busy. Then Isabel and her mom went to New York.I thought this book was great, at some parts it was a cliffhanger and made not want me to put the book down. Now i want to open a cupcake store. I just finished reading It's Raining Cupcakes by Lisa Schroeder. Isabel's mother has her heart set on getting a cupcake shop of her own. But when she has doubts Isabel help her fix them. Isabel enters a baking contest because if you win you get to go to New York. She has always had her heart set on traveling. She finds out why her mother will never let her travel. I highly recommend this book to fifth and sixth graders.
I read this book back in third grade and loved it!! it was about people opening a cupcake store!!
