Island of Silence is a story about a boy named Alex Stowe and his friends who go on many magical adventures to islands, with creatures of different kinds, and learning there skills of all sorts. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure, action fantasy, and at the end of each chapter it sparks your curiosity to read on. I'm happy to give this book a 5 star rating. I'm happy to do this because it had all the genres I like, it had a little gore,and a lot of action constantly happening. That is exactly the kind of book I like to read. Plus it wasn't the longest book ever. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. The good vs evil struggle really stresses me out sometimes. I know bad things happen to good people IRL...and I worry that bad will prevail in these stories. This story had a lot of that struggle, and some twists that I didn't see coming. Several interesting carrots are dangled in this 2nd story to make the reader continue with the series! I'm glad the library could deliver book 3 to me right away because I just need to get to the end and hopefully appease my Pollyanna needs.
