Andrei knows better than to go out without bodyguards in general, now with someone obviously gunning for him I think it is just ridiculous to believe that he would repeatedly sneak away. Devin not checking up on his past and whether Andrei was truly involved in things, yeah that doesn't work for me either. I really felt that the reality of who these guys were and what their lives were like was just tossed out the window for convenience of adding drama. And seriously, the last bit where we are thrown all the new people and half of them have the same name. I was really turned off by that. I didn't think it was neat or cool or whatever. Maybe if twenty new characters hadn't been thrown at us and multiple groups of two and three people weren't sharing the same name...So while I liked it, in some regards I am terribly disappointed that Andrei and Devin get the story they deserved.Also, for f*ck's sake, not everyone has to have a child to be fulfilled and I'm kind of irritated over this trend. *stomps off to pout in corner* Devin and Andrei.. oh how I love you both.This is another couple I couldn't wait for! I knew from the minute they were both introduced that they'd end up together, it was written between the lines! The hate.. that fine, fine line between love and hate. I knew there was a huge story there and I wasn't disappointed!I felt bad for Devin when he finally found out that what he thought was the truth wasn't. And poor Andrei, I could feel him trying to hold himself together when the ultimate truth came out. This is a must read, out of all of the books up to this point.
