Although I enjoyed the book, I did not think it was as good as other books by Jill Shalvis.Harley Stephens has spent six long years getting her degree in wildlife biology and has applied for a research position in Colorado. She is currently an unpaid intern studying coyotes in the Sierra mountain area of northern California. She has had a major crush on hometown hottie T.J. Wilder for a long time but realizes that as a professional guide, T.J. is hardly ever home. Harley wants a permanent relationship. When Harley gets the job in Colorado, she realizes it’s not what she wants. Rather than being inside doing research on a computer, Harley would rather be out in the field especially with T.J. But she is not sure what he is thinking. Getting teased about his relationship with Harley, T.J. growls at his brothers who are both in relationships and tells them he is never getting that involved with any woman. They laugh and tell him about karma. T.J. thinks Harley is going to Colorado and he has two trips lined up for Alaska. Both believe the other is going away but neither wants to admit the attraction they have for each other is a lot more than just mutual attraction. I enjoyed the characters and TJ and Harley were definitely hot together but the whole I am attracted to you, but we can't, but I want to, but I shouldn't, but I will, but will I regret it?, went on a bit too long for my tastes. I did enjoy the family dynamics and the brothers are a hoot together, and the great outdoors was a beautiful and wild backdrop for all the adventures of both the body and of the heart.
