They have to do something about the covers for this series. The wilder brothers are supposed to be these cool, fun, big, built outdoorsy guys and they put the cheesiest little guys that look about 16. In truth, many romance novels have awful covers - total goofball or cheesy shirtless guys.Liked the hero of the story a lot; the heroine was frustrating after awhile. Some fun dialogue. Cute, fast read as all Jill Shalvis books. So many are similar, but they are always a feel-good read. Emma Sinclair experienced a culture shock moving across country from her job in a New York City emergency department to the more rural country practice of her father. She returned because he had health problems, as I remember, and she got pressed into service by some of the locals, including the rugged Stone Wilder.Shalvis wrote descriptively. The love story carried some depth, friendship and heat. Some of the locals with their penchant for bringing casserole dish after casserole dish got to be distracting. Overall, a satisfying read. I like books with some medically minded characters, after all! LOL
