Now, Jake's side of the story. You may have hated some of the things that he did in Emily's side of the story, but this is where he gets to tell you how he saw everything. I still hate what he did to Emily, but at least when he finds out what he did, you see how he reacts to finding out why Emily is leaving him.Since you have most likely read Emily's side, you know how this book goes. If you haven't, stop reading this review here, and go read it.You know that Jake and Emily get their happily ever after. But in this book, you get to see how they meet, how Jake reacts to Max returning, and Max's proposal. Jake is a very loving, kind man. He is the kind of man that girls would kill for. Well, maybe not that far, but he is the perfect man, to a point.Jake and Emily are truly one of my favorite book couples. I don't know how you can't fall in love with their story. As I said in Emily's book review, it is heartbreakingly beautiful. In this book, you get to see all of the ways that Jake is trying to win Emily back. How heartbroken he is after finding out that she left, and how happy he was to finally make her his wife and the mother of his children.Once you finish reading this book, don't stop there, read on to Max and Jane, and Delaney and Donovan. D.W. has this way of making you fall in love with the characters until you can't get enough of them! The second in the Indelible Love series. DW Cee writes this from Jake's POV, giving us a whole new perspective on Emily and Jake's story. The reader sees the events unfolding through Jake's eyes and answers some questions as to why certain things happened or were said in the first book. Goes to show you both sides of the story. Writing from Jake's side of the story gives us more background on his family and their whole close knit group.Loved the first book, loved this more.
