Ok so Sawyer Bennett is now in my top five fav romance writers of all times. I personally love stories when the characters AREN'T playing bullshit games with one another. They're into each other, the romance is HOT, and they've got to get over an outside obstacle for our HEA.She sure delivers with this story. Just when you think it's going to get too sweet or tame, she throws in the sexy. And just when you think the dirty may go bad, it only gets better. This is a sweet and sexy Christmas story that, of course, goes beyond a typical holiday themed plot. What slays me about her writing is its versatility. Some writers write the same story with slightly different window dressing, but each of her books (outside a series) is truly a different ride.Buy this one. Buy them all. Seriously. If I Return by Sawyer Bennett is a really nice, easy Christmas read.Hope Camden is attending a Christmas wedding with her sister, who is the Maid of Honour. She was only coming along because, living in Florida, she'd never seen the snow and she just wanted to relax and kick back.Upon her arrival at The Montgrove Inn, she literally falls into the arms of Jack Freeman, and she starts to wonder if her sister's advice, to let go and have fun, should be taken!Jack Freeman is attending the very same Christmas wedding as Hope, he's one of the Groomsmen. After their encounter on the steps of the hotel, he starts to fantasise about having Hope in his arms again.Would this be just a fling for both of them, or will their feelings make it more? Maybe fate has something else in store for them.This is the perfect easy read for a cold December night. The characters are perfectly written, and they have an easy chemistry together.There's a definite beginning, middle and end to this story that will leave you all warm and fuzzy! Jack and Hope are a lovely couple, and I really enjoyed being in their company this afternoon!Thank you Sawyer Bennett for an enjoyable read!
