Wow that was such a great story!! I don't know what I was expecting, but I do know this story was more than I could of imagined. Such a heartwarming story. Garrett is a one night kind of guy until he meets Olivia. Olivia is facing a life changing event and decides to live life to the fullest while she still can. Garrett wasn't what she was expecting and it just melted my heart. I loved this story and just love Garrett and Olivia.SBM Book Obsession Garrett Samuelson is the hilarious, endearing best friend of Alex Crossman, and is also a player on the NHL hockey team The Cold Fury. I absolutely loved him in Alex, and was so excited when I found out he was getting his own book. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Garrett was so much more than a the funny, easy going, light hearted guy I thought him to be. He also had a serious, devoted and determined side as well. At a Cold Fury party, Garrett runs into Olivia Case, who happens to be Sutton's (Alex's fiance) cousin. He is instantly attracted, but she turns him down flat. There is something about her that really intrigues him though, so Garrett doesn't give up that easily. Olivia has just found out that she will be battling in the fight of her life, and isn't interested in a relationship. She does eventually cave into Garrett's persuasion, and they begin a casual relationship. It does quickly turn serious though, which terrifies Olivia. Olivia ends up going through drastic measures to try to push Garrett away, and potentially ends up throwing away the love of her life.I LOVED how devoted Garrett was. I don't even think he was aware of how amazing he could actually be in a relationship. He was used to his long line of one night stands, and hadn't intended on that changing anytime soon. I felt awful for Olivia's extreme struggles, but understood where she was coming from. I really liked this one! Garrett was a great addition to the series, and I CAN'T WAIT to get to Zach's story!
