3.5 starzSo it took a moment for me to write this review because honestly I'm confused on how I feel about the book. I'm giving this a 3.5 because I almost gave up on this book and almost didn't finish it. I dunno whether to like or hate as I was 50% through the book. I understand how and why the others thinks the redundancy was too much, the build up and plot could have been better it was lacking the punch that would make readers want to read more - so i gave it a chance. I keep telling myself maybe if i read on more something interesting will happen, not till 85% through the reveal slowly crept in.I got to admit the twist at the end was very intriguing but I felt was rushed, but then again... that's what sequels are for. Oh my gosh, am I reading the same book as everyone else who said, it was 5 stars and to grab the tissue box and they couldn't stop crying!!!!Seriously it was sad, but not enough to make me cry and I have read books that have really torn my heart out… and I have cried like a baby…This story of Lauren and Cai, whatever his name is, just no normal person would put up with a partnership of marriage, you are with you husband for one day then he packs and disappears for weeks to months and comes back and does it over and over again…. not much of a storyline if you ask me… I hope book 2 is better than through Lauren's eyes.
