About book I, Omega (2011)

4.5 stars!A super hot hot hot love story!-0.5 star because the ending is slightly too rush.I am an epilogue person so I really prefer a new-ending-scene-ending not a last-scene-ending. Not sure if anyone understands what I mean. Let's say the story would earn 0.5 star back by ending with Gabriel calls and explains to his dad about him and Cal, his dad is relieved, and maybe they even schedule to meet soon, etc. It's like everyone is happily-ever-after.There's no doubt there are many hot sex scenes in the story and if you want to read a story with twist plot with minimum sex scenes then this book is not for you. This book is not for everyone - the beginning is quite brutal in a way and I almost gave up on it. However the character of Gabriel got me hooked and I couldn't wait to find out what was going on and how he was going to deal with the strangeness all around him. I also started feeling in sympathy with Gabriel's Master (who's name we do eventually learn) and his character added a whole new dimension to the story for me. Without giving anything away about the story I can only say it gets better than it's rather hardcore start and is worth reading if you like m/m and shifters.
