Actual Rating: 3.5I hated Sierra, especially in the first third of the book she was unbearable, I really couldn't stand her. Maybe because I'm male and not in high school, but I really couldn't her at all. To the end of the book the character got better in my eyes and the whole story shifted a bit into darker territories. A note to the publisher: Please add the end mark for the book, so the actual book does end at 100% not 90% (Kindle edition)! this is precious and hysterical. I mean the star wars wedding with the star trek engagement ring. Too much just snorting laugh to much. And that is just one funny scene. The finding Nemo moments or when she gets stuck under the bed oh my gosh I snorted.Sierra like Levi. Levi is her sister Zoe's friend. Unfortunately Levi is liked by everyone whereas as Sierra is placed in the Ozarks as far as the seating of popularity at school. To get noticed Sierra starts to do things to get Levi's attention. She has his sister as her mentee. She has her study class moved to band. She is in debate with him. Even plays video games. What she doesn't realize is Levi does like her but his life is complicated. To get to know more about Levi, Sierra takes her mentoring Brea his sister to a extreme. But Sierra does feel guilty and tries to change this. It is here that Sierra begins to see Levi's life has changed. He went from a house to a trailer, a range rover to a moped but she doesn't care. She just wants Levi. I mean the throwing herself in the bush she is allergic to and than vomiting on him when he is helping her doesn't help the cause but she was in the bush because she was afraid of him seeing her at his home.Levi likes her but his life is complicated so he tries to stay away. He is there for her though when needed. Like when her so called best friend decides she wishes to be popular and begins to blow off her and Adam and than needs them for a party but turns out that the party is a Ambien party and Adam calls Levi to help him get these two girls out of there. That is like right there. He does sweet things to show he cares but still tries to distance himself until he can't take it anymore. When this happens, Sierra backs away because of her Ozark popularity status. That is until Levi shows her love and support and than she goes for it. a funny heart warming book on love and being comfortable with who you are. On supporting and caring for someone when it is needed and about being there no matter what. A great fun beach read.
