This is a review for "hope Smolders" by Jaci Burton only. I wanted to read this story before "Hope Flames" that is coming out in the very near future. "Hope Smolders " is a fun short story. Jane and Will are very like able characters. Will was sweet and sexy as hell and jane was strong and doing everything she can to keep a roof over her children's head. Janes children Ryan 8 yrs old and Tabitha 5 yrs old were so cute you could just eat TAbby up. I'm looking forward to reading "Hope Flames". Hope Smolders by Jaci Burton 3 starsJane and Will's relationship is steamy and believable. Enjoyed everything about their journey from dormant friendship to romantic commitment except for how often Jane refers to herself as "stupid" and obsesses about her body.Perfect Stranger by Carly Phillips 3 starsAlexa and Luke's story is a pleasantly surprising twist on a one-night stand story. It worked for me even though this was my first C.P. story and I knew nothing about the Serendipity series. This story has lured me into wanting to read more. The Legend of Jane by Jessica Clare DNFJane's behavior was too immature for my tastes, especially since she's supposed to have been successful in financial investment services. Her antics kept making me think, "No wonder you're unemployed." Gave it 15 pages.Ice Princess by Erin McCarthy 4 starsUpfront disclosure: E.M.'s writing always works for me--except her fallen angels series.Chelsea and Brody are both cheer-worthy characters, and their chemistry is instantaneous and believable. Their story is fun, super sexy and charming.
I only read the first story in this book and it was great but as always, too short!
