I love the story, I think it's so real, this happen even today but....what the fuck with the ending???? I cried with the epilogue, I think this story needed a good ending! because this kind of situations happen even today and we need to understand that it's possible!!!! :( Poor Emma! she didn't deserve it! and poor Anton....But I have a objection....the story need an explanation about what happen between them, because it's seems that it's hope for them just before the epilogue an then.....what?? I need to know waht exactly happened between them!WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! :'( Wow. I want to throw my reader, that's for sure. I gave this book a four because it was well written and I enjoyed the characters. It was also a riveting topic, but that ending man. I know not every story can have a happy ending...but why! Why! Why! Why must the world be this way? Why must we live in a world of prejudice and racism as well as complete misunderstanding of other human beings? Those are the questions this book brought up for me. And that means it was a well thought out, provocative book...despite not ending how I wanted. And that's the thing about life, it doesn't always go how you want.
