Peter Brownin "Herra Tiikeri villiintyy" (Tactic, 2014) on minulle entuudestaan tuntemattoman kotimaisen kustantajan julkaisema kuvakirja herra Tiikeristä, joka elää sovinnaista ja sääntöjen rajoittamaa elämää jonkinlaisessa viktoriaanisessa yhteiskunnassa. Kunnes eräänä päivänä Tiikeri päättää heittää sivistyksen kahleet yltään ja villiintyä."Herra Tiikeri villiintyy" jätti vähän ristiriitaiset tuntemukset: erittäin tyylikäs kuvitus teki vaikutuksen, mutta itse tarina jäi - hyvästä perusideastaan huolimatta - pikkuisen torsoksi. Fiiliksen mukaan joko kaksi tai kolme tähteä. Mr. Tiger is tired of the proper behavior required for city life. He begins to shake things up a bit by changing his dress, walking on all fours, roaring, flying and taking a dip in the town fountain. But then he went a little to wild. He came out of the fountain without any clothes on. Now the other city animals decided they had had enough. They told Mr. Tiger that if he wanted to be this wild he needed to go live in the wilderness.What a great idea, though Mr. Tiger. He loved it. The freedom! The liberty! The loneliness...Mr. Tiger eventually realizes that being wild is great, but being wild and alone is not so great. He travels back to the city where he learns that things have been changing for the wilder. He fits in now and no one is telling him to leave.
