I will admit there were some parts to the story that left you saying "WTF?" For instance, Mischief aka Violet suddenly returns home to find Travis strung out on drugs. We're not just talking he smokes weed from time to time. He's strung out on serious drugs, out of his mind doped up. She decides he needs help, talks ALL his drugs while he's sleeping then basically locks him in the house to detox, never leaving his side. He finally comes down from it all with no help from detox drugs or rehab 10 days later and he's cured. That was absolutely unrealistic in my opinion. However, all that aside. I loved the story. The whole series was great and I read it back to back which I almost never do. So, yes there were some parts that weren't believable, but it was still a good story that kept my attention and made me wish the story would continue on. I love that we saw Chief and Angel, as we have throughout the series as it went from being their story to Violet and Travis' story. Loved it, what a great way to end the trilogy. My heart was in my mouth when Mischief was shot. My heart fell apart when she left Travis. I wanted a happy ending for them. Mischief is messed up because of the lies and the shooting. Travis is messed up because of Mischief leaving him and the drugs. Can they really get their happy ending?Read the book to see!!! I would recommend this book.
Do You like book Heart Song (2000)?
Great follow up to Phoenix Rockstar but still the same feelings as the first book.
