About book Happy, Happy, Happy (2013)

"Happy Happy Happy" Book Review This quarter I read "Happy Happy Happy," by Phil Robertson. My brother encouraged me to read this book. My first thoughts were that it is all about hunting and fishing, but I decided to give it a shot. Many of Phils stories include hunting and fishing, but each time they end with a quote or phrase. The quote or phrase either inspire the reader or make you evaluate yourself. "Happy Happy Happy" was a book filled with 236 pages worth of insuring and funny words of Phil Robertson. Each chapter has a new story or new overall message. In the first chapter Phil says, "what separates the Robertsons from a lot of other families is our faith in God and love for each other"(10). This quote, like most of Phils words, make me read between the lines. I admire the way he added in the love for each other. Sometimes were so caught up in being perfect for God we forget the most important thing he told us was "love your neighbor as yourself." Later in the book Phil says, "what the Almighty is saying is no matter how sorry and low-down somebody might be, everybody's worth something." When I hear this quote it gives me chills. And makes me think of all the people who don't think they are worth life. Phil always keeps things interesting with no dole moments making it one of my favorite books. He never tells a story twice in a row and you can always depend on a funny, courages, and inspiring story that will put a smile on your face. Phil Robertson will inspire you to think less of yourself and live Happy Happy Happy. This book is very good, Phil talks about his life experiences, and how hard life was before Duck Commander boomed. He relates all his tough times he went through throughout the years to god, and has atleast one verse from the bible in each chapter. The book is very interesting because Phil has lived a very interesting life with many ups and downs. This autobiography has memories all the way back from his childhood. I reccomend this book to anyone who watched duck dynasty or just wants to learn more about Phil Robertson
