Alrighty, I've finished this little series. Leah and "Hansel" are interesting. The story is pretty sick with "mother" and all. and who Kinsley is. It's one wicked story. The sex was hot, of course. I got mixed feelings about Hansel. I felt bad for him a lot. But I felt that there should have been more. the ending felt unfinished. Like an epilogue would have been nice. I'm not one to complain about prices. If I want a book, I buy it. Simple as that. After the end of pt 4. the author states there will be another short story for them. I mean a simple epilogue would have been fine. I don't need to buy another book just to make sure they have a happy ending. Would I recommend this book? Um It's got a lot of dark things. I'm more of a happy type of person. but the story was well done in how the author incorporated the fairy tale into it. So if you are into stuff like that yeah.Is this a book I would re-read. Nope. too dark. Weird twisty non-linear psychological story about a boy and girl that are taken by a crazy woman who dubs herself Mother Goose and calls them Hansel and Gretel. The story starts when Hansel breaks, killing Mother and rescuing Gretel and all the other captive children. Luke (Hansel) and Leah (Gretel) go their separate ways. Time passes. In the present, Leah is in Vegas celebrating her sister's nuptials. For the bachelorette party they go to a sex club to watch the elusive club owner perform a BDSM act onstage. Edgar the club owner is Hansel. Leah lost her virginity to Hansel the day he killed Mother and freed them both. Since then, she's never been in a relationship, she's long seared for Hansel, the one boy who made her feel safe. Luke, on the other hand is a Dom who is a closet masochist, needing pain to come. His love life is a series of relationships with subs that all superficially resemble Leah, so he can pretend he has the one girl he's always wanted.Fascinating story. All the sex between Leah and Luke is kinky but consensul. The non-con tag is for the twisted relationship between Hansel and Mother.
