STRANDED WITH A BILLIONAIRE was so much more than just having two people stranded on an island during a hurricane. While that sets up our two characters, most of the story takes place off the island and back in normal life. ***Slight Details***Billionaire Logan Hawkings keeps his identity a secret from waitress Brontë due to his past of being burned by women only after his money. But when Brontë leaves him for his secrecy he takes drastic measures to get her back in his life. Brontë falls hard for Logan and is quick to give him another chance that includes moving to New York with him. But once there, Brontë isn’t sure their lifestyle’s match and Logan still isn’t sure he can trust her. Their second break-up leads to Brontë making a new friend (and further book heroine) and learning the real isn’t Logan’s money, but her fear of not making something of her life. Overall I really liked this book and really look forward to reading the other, but there was still something about it that kept it from being a five star. Stars: 4Overall: Bronte just won a free trip to an island and takes along her work friend, who is a complete and total slob/messy person. After being there for two rainy days, a hurricane blows in, but before she is able to leave, she gets stuck on an elevator with a sexy stranger. At first Bronte mistakes Logan for the manger and he lets her think that because of how he was used in the past. At first they start off as friends, but each day that they are stuck there, they get closer and closer to each other, but than they are rescued and Bronte finds out who the real Logan is and runs. It take Logan a few days to track her down and when he does, he goes big to get her attention. After this point, there a lot of ups and downs between the couple about trust, love and money. In the end they find out the true meaning of really being together and get a HEA.Pros: The island part of the story was my favorite part because it seemed realistic and really romantic once they got closer together. Bronte's character I just loved throughout the whole book. She was strong, loyal and above all else a real romantic at heart. She didn't let Logan just walk all over her and stood up for what she believed in. Cons: At times Logan really got on my nerves because of the whole world being a the tip of your fingers. I get that he was shafted in the past by his ex girlfriend, but the way he treated Bronte after their fling on the island just blew my mind. Who goes out and buys two different work places just to get close to a girl you really want. Characters: Logan & BrontePage Turner: YesSeries Cont: YesRecommend: Oh YES!
