A great christian fiction romance! I love the fast pace of the novella. Very well developed introduction to the series. With some novellas the author tries so hard to emerge you into the world they are creating in other books, that they don't take the time to develop the characters and the plot for the novella. This is NOT the case here. Gentleman of Her Dreams is an amazing stand alone read, but also gives a glimpse into her series. Based upon this I am excited to begin reading the series! Gentleman of Her Dreams is a free prequel to A Change of Fortune in the Ladies of Distinction series, available on amazon.com in the Kindle Store. If you're in the mood for an Americanized-Emma-type-novella, you're in luck. The characters are witty, fun, and always seem to be getting into some sort of mischief. Charlotte, of course, instigates all of this crazy fun. She believes Henry to be "an idiot" and Henry describes Charlotte as "wild and free." This is an entertaining and, albeit, somewhat frustrating short read. But, it only wets your appetite for the beginning of the Ladies of Distinction series with an excerpt from A Change of Fortune.
