Ah, darnet all! I just did not enjoy this book all that much. I love, love, love the other Jen Turano books I've read and expected to love this one, too. I think what bugged me most was how much the characters seemed to have changed from the other two books I've read that include them. I decided to just ignore what I had learned of those characters in the other book and try to enjoy this book, but it just didn't draw me in the way the other books did. I liked this book a lot. I thought that it had a good sense of humor as well as a good plot. The mothers of both the main characters and all their meddling cracked me up. I was enthralled by the mystery that the hero of the story was trying to figure out and I was frustrated right along with him as he tried to keep the heroine out of trouble and jail. I want to see how may more books are in this series so that I can read them all.
Another cute book by ms Turano. Not as awesome as the first one, but I liked all the same.
