The Elric boys and their allies go all out against Father in a final battle for the survival of humanity and the world. I won't ruin the finish with plot details, but suffice to say this is a satisfying ending, with sacrifices that make sense both in the plot, as well as the worldbuilding. Rarely does that happen with series, so cudos to creator Hiromu Arakawa.
