While I am a little saddened by the ending of this manga, in part by the fact there will be no more new adventures of Ed and Al, Hiromu Arakawa wisely elected to end the story before it got too long in the tooth (a point I also wish to give credit to Charlene Harris for in regards to her decision to write no more Sookie Stackhouse books after number 13). I can always revisit these wonderful characters and possibly try to read all 27 volumes in one sitting.Are we surprised by seeing Ed and AL triumph over evil and help Roy began the road towards a more tolerant government? No, if anything Arakawa maybe goes a little too far in trying to give just about every player a happy ending. Costs have been incurred in getting this point (avoiding those spoilers), and the price that has been paid cannot be retrieved. Arguably my favorite manga series, and in large part that is because I have always enjoyed Al and Ed, not to mention Roy, Lt. Hawkeye, the Armstrongs, and the late Maes. Un buon fumetto. Le 4 stelle sono basate su personali proiezioni sul fumetto ed un certo appassionamento all'opera. FMA rielabora elementi della figura del Faust, del dilemma del Golem, del problema etico della Scienza. I fratelli Elric, sono i nostri occhi e non i protagonisti, sono l'insieme dei personaggi ad esserlo. Ben costruiti ed organizzati sono secondo me, il fulcro, della popolarità di FMA. L'intreccio narrativo è buono, con alti e bassi; forse il finale è deboluccio, ma tutto sommato passabile.
