Great choice for my one free book this month from Amazon Prime!! I really loved the first book in this series and was really hoping I would not be disappointed with book 2...and I wasn't...it was fantastic!Taz is the ultimate bad boy man-whore mama's boy...yes all that AND yet he is completely smitten and almost immasculated by Karen...a girl out of his league who leaves her no-so-comfy life anymore to start over in the small town where his MC resides. Of course eventually her past and his club business collide, but not before they fall hard for each other and Karen becomes accepted by all the old ladies in the club and his own mama.I really loved their relationship and how straight-laced Karen was at first scared and then intrigued and finally sexually attracted and addicted to Taz.The sex was steamy and more laced with passion and emotion, but the violence was really quite gruesome in a few places and with all the action going on, there was a non-stop fast paced flow to the story.It also showed a very human and family centered side to these bad boys that was endearing and sweet. Enticed by his irresistible devilish good looks and charm it was evitable to fall further for his character throughout this read. Raised by a single mother whose past rock groupie status plastered the bakery walls, Taz (Gabriel Morell) stepped into his ma’s footsteps to enjoy a life without restrictions and responsibilities. Janice’s love for her son Taz was full of affection and concern, as she repeatedly challenged him to settle down and think of a life outside the Mountain Skulls mc. Trying to steer him on a path different to hers so he could experience the love of one woman and have a family, instead of stumbling upon his whores under her roof forcing Taz to hear his mother’s disappointment, but unable to see himself change until a green eyed beauty catches his eye. Karen Hanson was a sexy confident women who oozed with class. Having discovered her fiancé’s involvement costing Karen to lose everything, her journey to leave her social status behind to save her dignity and bring out her independence steered her car to the town of Tippett. I loved how Taz tried to charm Karen upon seeing her and how in fact she left this Tasmanian Devil in a spin lol! I have to say Elayne DiSano knows to write some dayum hot sexy romantic scenes, which carried over from Ben and Eva to Karen and Taz making them one sizzling couple! The spark between them was unavoidable as Karen plagued Taz’s mind, but these stubborn alpha males still behave like man whores before realising no other women could take their place. I found For Her Honor more edgier then the previous novel and some parts were sickening to stomach, with the suspense pulling you in to uncover the hand of betrayal and the outcome of revenge. A brilliant and sexy read full of charm, romance, over the top alphas and dark suspense, I loved the ending and would love to see Aero get his own story!
