About book First Thing I See (2000)

Ok where do I start...let me just say that I really enjoyed this book to me it was a sweet story but I just felt like the ending wasn't the ending there were so many questions that would have been nice if it was followed up on just 1 example is the evil step mom situation and if her dad ever sees how she talks to her...like I said I enjoyed the storyline everything was nice simple and sweet but the ending felt lacking and I needed more...Maybe a fallow up book because I just feel like it was incomplete... WORST BOOK EVER! I just wasted my two first days of vacation reading this stupid book and I could not have been more disappointed than I am right now, in this precise moment! Ugh! It was so bad. Good plot, bad writing, bad grammar, bad spelling, bad characters (except for Shauna). Hope was stupidly weak, as if Kennedy was some effing caffeine she needed every morning. WTF? She's too girly and emotional and too stuck on the guy. The relationship started off too soon, the beginning was SO rushed. The usual romantic blah-blah happened and BAM! She fell in love, he fell in love, they both fell in love and they both were in love. Like WTF was that? And Hope was stupid, epitom of a dimwitted person. She just saw that Mikayla girl in front of Kennedy's building and she was already assuming things and went back to the airport and spent the next four days crying. Bish whet? -.-' I swear, the plot was good. If that book had been given to somebody else to write it, it would have come off much better than the trash I just read. I wasted precious hours of my life there. Never reading books by this author anymore.

Do You like book First Thing I See (2000)?

3.5 stars...The plot was good. But it wasn't really a great one. Very much predictable. The writing was ok.But the author could have been more descriptive and elaborate. Like... she could have mentioned her father's marriage in the beginning itself. Something about her history to let us readers get to know more about her.Their dialogues was written as if they are having a discussion about business. "I want to make you cum"- Kennedy"Ok" - Hope. I felt half of the dialogues was just like this. She didn't even argue with him but let him do whatever he wanted. I felt she didn't have a backbone to stand up for herself. Lol. I didn't feel anything going on between the characters. Everything felt like a business arrangement. But later, I guess after 35-40%, I started to love this book. The story was taking an interesting turn (still predictable though) and the development in characters was evident. It took some time for me to like the protagonists. And I loved the ending part. So, 3.5 stars it is.
