I don't know how or why I finished this book. The plot was beyond ridiculous even for a romance novel, the characters shallow, the sex scenes mediocre at best. Daisy was boring and Belmont "Jack" had the mentality of a 13 year old boy who just figured out what his boys parts were for. It was hard to believe that Daisy and Jack were two adults in their 30s. The sex scenes were terrible; fast and not romantic. Their conversations were limited and intercepted by Jack the horn dog copping sleazy feels. I kept wondering if this was really written by an adult and not a horny teenage boy who just finished a semester of sex education at his high school. This story was not my favorite. I couldn't quite believe the love at first sight and I wasn't given any reason to believe it from the H's point of view. Also, a little annoying that everyone who saw her wanted her - was it only on the island that this happened? The sex was a little too much, like could they spend 10 minutes talking to see if they were compatible? And at one point her Mom pops in and out, then the story is unresolved with her friend and ex-boyfriend. I just found the story a bit forced.
This was a wonderful book. Being a New England girl I had to read this, and I'm so glad I did.

Typical love story...completely predictable...but sufficed as a light summer read.
