I liked the way this one started, and I was a little charmed by Dilly/Dylan's naïveté and his way of saying whatever he's thinking at any given moment. The first sex scene was really hot, and the dynamic between the main players was intriguing from the beginning. Unfortunately, I started to lose interest about halfway through and started to find the interaction between Dylan and Vin unrealistic and borderline obnoxious. I gave up just short of the end. Great book, loved Vin and Dylan together. Really nice to see Dylan grow up over the course of the book. I think this is the first time I've seen a submissive like him, who is 100% okay with being submissive. It was a really nice change. Vin is atypical too in the current bookscape, but perfect for Dylan. I was a little annoyed about the comparisons between Vin and Gary's behaviors, to me it's apples and sadistic raping oranges. Dylan's parents are horrible parents but in a human way, not a mean/cruel way, if that makes any sense.
