About book Fancy Nancy And The Late, Late, LATE Night (2010)

This is about Fancy nancy who stayed up too late and was exhausted the next day. She visited Ms. Devine and they had a talk about her years in Hollywood. she met celebrities and got their atographs. She even had a scrap book that she made. After their talk Fancy Nancy decided to pretend to be a celebrity and she did and pictures were taken and autographs were signed. She got Ms. Devine scrap book and decided to read it even though her parents told her to go to bed. The next day she was so tired she missed three words on her spelling test and could not play during recess. I just love Fancy Nancy. Really. She's adorable and so utterly...dramatic about everything. Maybe this reminds me of my own child?? Anyway. My favorite part of this story was when Nancy commented that she stayed up until TEN O'CLOCK under the covers, reading beloved Mrs. Devine's Hollywood scrapbook, and she's fairly certain not even movie stars stay up that late. Nancy and I are totally on the same wavelength. It's been quite awhile since I've seen 10 p.m. on a school night, TRUST ME.

How could I not like a Fancy Nancy book. Cute illustrations and teaches a gentle lesson.

It was okay, not great. Didn't keep the attention of my three year old.
