I have pretty low standards when it comes to New Adult books...I usually read them as a way to relax and shut off my brain for a while so it isn't like I expect Charles Dickens level material. This was TERRIBLY written...it was on the level of some of my kids' early reader books. Seriously, my 4 year old probably could have read this book. On top of that, the chapters were extremely short and choppy. The storyline is very overdramatic...even for a NA book...and that is saying something. It had potential but it fell extremely short. Also...wth...the girl is supposed to be a nineteen year old virgin who didn't even have sex with her boyfriend that she had known since she was in 2nd grade (i think it said) yet she gave it up at the drop of a hat to her step brother who she had known maybe a few weeks and was a total man whore? Second time was without a condom...and she wasn't on bc...and she believe him when he said he was clean. Yeah. Okay...because that is realistic.I'm going to continue to read the entire series just because I cannot stand to leave a story in the middle of it but I'm pretty sure I will be losing some more brain cells. The first thought that came to my mind after I finished reading this book was that, the plot could be stronger. I mean, I wasn't exactly thrown off when I finally unveiled the secrets. That's why I rated it 4 stars, not 5.Looking on the brighter side, I liked the leading characters and the style of writing. So ladies, let me present to you the charming-silver-eyed-dirty-talker-and-bad-boy covered in tattoos and piercings, Rush Finlay. And let me warn you, he is a jerk - yet, a jerk I couldn't but fall for.Next up, meet Blaire. She's young, beautiful and strong. She doesn't flinch to whatever life throws at her and meets every challenge with courage. Then comes the plot twist that tilts the axis of Blaire's life making her go against her undeniable attraction for Rush and thus, ending the book in a cliffhanger. So, yes, I'm going to read the next book in the series!
Do You like book Fallen Too Far (2012)?
Easily my favorite out of the Rosemary Series - Blaire and Rush are the perfect romantic couple.

I am so over NA books. Especially NA books with virgin heroines. Ugh.
