It's been a while since I've read this series and I wanted to take the time to catch up to current. I liked the battle with Mr. Dark and BellFlower but I felt it was lackluster at points. I'm looking forward to what Mr. Dark has planned for the future with his new partner in crime. Maybe it's the "villian-lover" part of me that can't wait for the next plot. Or maybe I actually enjoyed this volume. I made it to the end so I'll have to give it a yes - I did like it. Looking forward to what the next volume has to bring. :) I loved this one. I had a fairy tale book as a child that had the story of Snow White and Rose Red and the evil dwarf they kept trying to help and the bear who turns out to be a prince in disguise. I don't know why, but it was my favorite and I loved seeing it again. I also loved the battle between Bellflower and the Dark man. The Dark man really captures my imagination. It's hard to wait for the next volume to see what happens. :)
The showdown between Frau Totenkinder and the Dark Man was fantastic.
