I liked this second book. What I wasn't fond of was the Dylan was absent for most of it. I loved seeing more of Ursad (Prince Lotinar), feel a bit sad for him because he wants Shade with him but, Shade is already confused over Dylan and Rylan (Soap). She really realizes how she feels about Dylan after making a colossal mistake causing Dylan to leave. I was excited to see that she isn't the only one in her human family that is unique! Sad that she finally got to meet a member of her Faery family and didn't get to know her for very long. Good action at the end of the book, the return of Dylan, can't wait to get into book three. As I am reading on in this series I am becoming more invested in Shade! She’s learning more about herself and her heritage as time goes on. All the while, I am sitting here on pins and needles waiting and waiting for Shade and Dylan to hook up. She seems to gain more suitors as I turn each page, which frustrates me. I keep wanting to yell at them, she loves Dylan, she belongs with Dylan. But yet, I am not getting the satisfaction of her and Dylan hooking up.Ok, when Shade lets Corb take her in to keep the others safe and while she was imprisoned and tortured, I keep screaming at my kindle - “Where the HECK is Dylan!” It was driving me crazy! So happy when he finally arrived. But too soon the book ended and left me wanting more! Now off to EverWinter I go!

AMAZING! I can't wait to read the next! I believe the library has become my new favorite place.

Really good. Some bits made me rate it lower.
