I think this was more of a 3.5 read for me, rounded to 4. Oh how do I love me some cowboys. Especially two cowboys doing the slow burn dance with each other. I was a bit worried there at 35%. Neither of the MC seamed to have that lusty desire for one another. But, hey. I learned a lot of Australian sheep farm culture. ( So tempting to add in a bbbaaaa, in here.) look at me i almost refrained. So. Caine. Let's straight up confess, his stutter was quite endearing. At least I liked it. Gave him so much character. Macklin was a lot harder to like. I get the tug and pull if I can't do this. But, golly. Just do it already. Seriously.I hated that Caine rolled out of the way and let Macklin take over. Overall it was a pretty conventional cowboy coming out story. Caine Neiheisel decides to move to Australia when his mother inherits her uncle's sheep station. He is determine to start a new life.Macklin Armstrong, the foreman of Lang Downs and a person who Caine should be relying on. Caine and Macklin are in two different spectrums of accepting their own feelings. Macklin is afraid he will lose the respect on the hands if his sexuality comes to play. Caine is not going to let that deter him from trying a relationship with Macklin. They will have to proof to each other love is more important. It is really interesting the way the story develops. It is my first book by Ms. Tachna and I really like her writing style and the characters. Looking forward to the next book of the series.

A good story, but a bit too cheesy for me.
