This is #4 in the Walt Logmire series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Much more than I did the previous novel. Craig Johnson was back in form in this novel as Walt has to deal with his personal demons from his time in Vietnam. I enjoyed the back and forth settings, from Walt's experiences in Vietnam to his current experiences as Sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. I am thoroughly hooked on this series and am looking forward to continuing to read about Sheriff Longmire and his family and friends. Enjoyable. Leisurely. Walt is in Montana and working with a brand new female tribal chief who is.... prickly. Also coping with daughter Cady's Cheyenne-style upcoming wedding on some mountain top. A young mother falls/is pushed from a cliff, cradling her infant son who isn't hurt although she is killed.Slowly read by George Guidall--one of my favorite readers, although his voice is a bit gentle for Walt when compared to the actor who plays him on TV. In the book, Cady is marrying Vic's brother although this doesn't seem to be happening on TV.One of many, many books loaded onto my big new iPod. Found variously under music and playlists.

What a great series. I'm going to be really sad when I've finished them all.
