I really enjoyed the first book of Prophecy of the Sisters so I was looking forward to reading the second and third book. I really liked the book a lot I thought it was very suspenseful and very interesting. I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. One of the things I really liked was Lia’s character.Lia definitely is my favorite character in the book I love her attitude toward everything and how she acts in situations. No matter what she is always positive and logical she thinks about the given situation and reacts quickly. Like when Edmund, Luisa, Sonia, and Lia are trying to get to Altus and they are being attacked Lia immediately turns around “pulls the bow from across her back…and takes aim at the beast” (106). She had only a moment to react and she reacted in the most logical way she could, he had faith in herself and was willing to protect her friends. Given the situations she is pretty much forced into due to her past and her role in the prophecy she does a very good job of handling the situations. Lia always puts herself before others even if it means putting herself into more danger. The example above and so many more shows Lia’s willingness to do anything to save her friends and family. Lia also understands that the ending the prophecy is her job and she doesn’t bring anyone into the prophecy that she doesn’t have to, to protect them. When Sonia is taken over by the souls due to the medallion Lia insists that she is the only one who should wear it. Everyone is worried but her safety but Lia is worried about the safety of her friends so she won’t let anyone else wear it. “I know it better than anyone, but there is no other way” (135). Lia insists that she is the only one to take the risk of wearing the medallion. When Philip insists on escorting Lia on a dangerous journey she simply replies “this part of the prophecy must be shouldered only by me” (33). She does this because she knows she may not return alive from this journey and she couldn’t bear to hurt anyone else due to this prophecy. Just finished the second book in the prophecy of the sisters trilogy and it was really good cannot wait to read the third one and see how everything ends. I wonder what will happen with Lia and Dimitri, will Lia come to terms with her feelings and how we will she let go of James? Will Alice win in the end or will Lia come out on top? I cannot wait to read the last book, but I have waited this long and will be excited to see what awaits these two sisters: who will be the gate and who will be the guardian?
