Not as much of a 'on the run shoot out adventure' like Warrior but still a really fun read. I liked the focus on riddles and tomb raider/relic hunter vibe. Loved Bennett and his roguish banter, also his genuine appreciation of woman. London was interesting but sometimes hard to understand, giving up everything she knew (family, security, money) seemed a bit too easy for her to come to terms with when you consider the situation of women from that era. BUT the romance was sweet I have to say. Can't wait to start the next book! I LOVED London and Bennett. My goodness they were fun to read. Again, I don't do historical romance, but for Zoe I make an exception. Her stories are jam packed with action and paranormal excitement. She has got to be one of the most eloquent writers I've read. This story is an adventure from beginning to end and watching Bennett absolutely lose his mind in lust and then love for London is fantastic! I really didn't want their story to end.
I thought this book moved slower than Warrior, but certainly enjoyed it.
