Liked hearing about the cool road trip places they went, especially when their destination is Portland and I'll be going there next month. They even stopped by the craters of the moon by/in(?) Rupert! Didn't find it believable that it took this girl 4 years to approach her best friend with the whole 'do you like me' subject...This was a fun easy breezy read. I enjoyed the banter between the two of them and I even laughed a few times. The characters were 'witty' in a believable sense, rather than the overdone one...if you get what I mean... It's a road trip story that ends in Oregon... how could I not read this book? I finished it in an evening, carried along easily. It's a charming summer read in many ways, with great flashes of humor and a layered friendship, though I must admit my enjoyment of the entertaining protagonists Lillian and Josh started to flag at points. It includes a barrage of cultural and tourism references, which will seem like overkill to some readers but interesting and/or delightfully familiar to others (and I usually leaned towards the latter). I had trouble with Penny's voice and storyline though, and I'm not sold by its resolution.
Do You like book Don't Stop Now (2011)?
